About Me

Laura Brennan

Born in London, Laura Bennan initially trained to become a journalist at Bournemouth University before gaining a BA Hons degree in History (2:1) from London Metropolitan University in 2005. While working at BBC in Outside Broadcasts, she studied part time to gain her MA in history.

Both books are follow on and are extensions from her dissertations from her two degrees. James Scott, Duke of Monmouth was the subject of her MA dissertation while Elizabeth I was one of the historical figures featured in her under grad dissertation.

Currently located in Berkshire, Laura enjoys the theatre, particularly Shakespeare, wandering around galleries and museums as well as escaping to France and Italy when ever she can.
